New Perry-Foley Airport Terminal

Perry-Foley airport has undergone a great deal of growth.

The new 2040 Square Foot Terminal serves pilots, visitors, state and federal officials as well as the alternate Emergency Operations Center.

This project was funded at 100% by Florida Department of Transportation District (2) Office under the Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Program.

This Terminal is the only building in the County built to Category 5 Hurricane standards.

This new Terminal replaces the old WWI era terminal on the premises.

In 2005, renovations were completed to the airport apron and aircraft tie-down area.

In 2006, a new state-of-the-art, Real Time Weather Report System (AWOS) was installed at the airport for pilots to check weather and wind conditions when flying into the Perry-Foley airport.

Plans are to build T-Hangers in 2007.
