ABOUT THE DMH FOUNDATION:
The mission of the DMH Foundation is to generate charitable funds in support of Doctors' Memorial Hospital. Founded in 2010, the DMH Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization to centralize and coordinate fund-raising efforts to benefit Doctors' Memorial Hospital. The Foundation's Board of Trustees and professional staff carry out fund-raising events, annual appeals and capital campaigns and seek gifts from employees, grateful patients and other friends of the hospital, as well as grants from corporations and private foundations. The DMH Foundation is registered with the State of Florida as an approved charitable organization.
HOW DO I SUPPORT THE DMH FOUNDATION?
The DMH Foundation solicits donations with a variety of programs including: Major Gifts/Donors, Memorials, Special Events, Grateful Patients, annual Gifts and Employee Contributions.
Major Gifts/Donors are friends of DMH who support the hospital with a substantial philanthropic contribution. These gifts may be accumulative in nature and donors are acknowledged with a plaque in the hospital lobby. Designation categories are as follows:
Palm Tree $3,000-$4,999
Cypress Tree $5,000-$6,999
Magnolia Tree $7,000-$9,999
Live Oak $10,000-$19,999
Pine Tree $20,000-$24,999
Forest Champion $25,000 +
Special Events are functions, gala's etc. Sponsored by the DMH Foundations' Board of Trustees that serve the purpose of raising awareness of the DMH Foundation and raising philanthropic gifts. Corporate donors are often solicited to assist with sponsoring these types of events
