In 2000 Doctors' Memorial launched a pilot program to help fill critical need jobs. This program selected students from our local community, and funded their education for a health related field. When they graduate, they agreed to come back and provide health care in their home town.

Since the program was started, we have sponsored students to become Doctors, Nurses, Radiographic Technologists, Polysomnography Techs, Surgical Techs, and Laboratory Technologists. Our first two students are graduating in 2003, with several more following each year.

After graduation, students take their state licensure exams, and begin full time jobs here at DMH.

Acceptance paperwork from an accredited instituion should be submitted at the time of application.
