Information about the
Student Laptop Initiative

The Taylor County School District has been awarded a technology grant of nearly $1 million to implement a one-to-one laptop computer initiative at Taylor County High School and Taylor County Middle School. The Florida Department of Education's Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) grant will provide a laptop to every 8th and 9th grader for the 2006-07 school year.
