DMH Plaza patients should call 850-838-2142 to contact office staff until further notice.

OPERATIONS UPDATE: Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 | 8:00 am


  • Physical therapy clinic will open to patients on Wednesday.
  • DMH Plaza patients will be seen at the main hospital in the Wound Care Clinic until further notice.
  • Dr. Romero’s clinic (SMG Cardiology) will operate out of the main hospital until further notice.
  • Wound Care will operate out of the Outpatient Surgical Area.

DMH staff will be stationed inside the main entrance to help direct guests to the proper location.

IDALIA UPDATE: Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 | 9:30 am

ESTABLISHED DMH PATIENTS: Due to the temporary closure of DMH Clinics, a walk-in clinic has been set up at the main hospital. This is for ESTABLISHED PATIENTS ONLY. Open from 8 am-12 pm and 1-4 pm. Call 850-584-0700 for more information.

IDALIA UPDATE: Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 | 5:00 pm

DMH CLINICS: All DMH clinics, physical therapy, and outpatient services are closed until further notice. The DMH Emergency Department remains open.

IDALIA UPDATE: Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023 | 10:00 am

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IS OPEN: The DMH Emergency Department has activated backup power and remains OPEN. We have a team of ER physicians and support staff onsite and ready to serve the community if needed.

IDALIA UPDATE: Monday, Aug. 28, 2023 | 2:30 p.m.

As a precaution and to reserve all resources for potential storm impacts, some DMH inpatients are being relocated to other facilities or being discharged if appropriate.

The DMH Emergency Department will remain OPEN and ready to serve the community for the duration of the event.

Due to potential impacts of TS Idalia please note the following:

DMH Clinics & Outpatient Services
All DMH clinics and outpatient services will close at noon Tuesday, Aug. 29 and remain closed Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Scheduled Surgeries & Procedures
All surgeries and procedures set for Wednesday, Aug. 30 will be cancelled and rescheduled.
