OPERATIONS UPDATE: Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 | 8:00 am
DMH WILL RESUME NORMAL OPERATIONS TODAY WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS:
- Physical therapy clinic will open to patients on Wednesday.
- DMH Plaza patients will be seen at the main hospital in the Wound Care Clinic until further notice.
- Dr. Romero’s clinic (SMG Cardiology) will operate out of the main hospital until further notice.
- Wound Care will operate out of the Outpatient Surgical Area.
DMH staff will be stationed inside the main entrance to help direct guests to the proper location.

ESTABLISHED DMH PATIENTS: Due to the temporary closure of DMH Clinics, a walk-in clinic has been set up at the main hospital. This is for ESTABLISHED PATIENTS ONLY. Open from 8 am-12 pm and 1-4 pm. Call 850-584-0700 for more information.

DMH CLINICS: All DMH clinics, physical therapy, and outpatient services are closed until further notice. The DMH Emergency Department remains open.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IS OPEN: The DMH Emergency Department has activated backup power and remains OPEN. We have a team of ER physicians and support staff onsite and ready to serve the community if needed.

As a precaution and to reserve all resources for potential storm impacts, some DMH inpatients are being relocated to other facilities or being discharged if appropriate.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
The DMH Emergency Department will remain OPEN and ready to serve the community for the duration of the event.
