Doctors’ Memorial Hospital has welcomed new and returning members to its Board of Directors and named officers for the year ahead.

The board welcomed Elizabeth Eastman, who oversees Nammo’s Perry operations, as a new County Seat representative and Kyrie Thomas as the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare representative. Scott Barton and Sherri Ellis will continue serving as County Seat representatives.

The board also named Priscilla Tripp, chairwoman; Ken Arnold, vice chair and treasurer; Nelda Parker-Pace, secretary; and Dr. Tae Yu, chief of staff and medical director.

DMH also recognizes Pat Barbaree for his years of service to the hospital’s Board of Directors, including his leadership as chair. During his time on the board, Barbaree helped guide DMH through significant growth and development, including the expansion of hospital services.

“It has been an honor to work with the team at DMH and serve on this board,” Barbaree said. “I’m grateful for the years I’ve had with this hospital and this community, and I have every confidence in where they’re headed next.”

CEO Ashley Biddy thanked Barbaree for his service while welcoming the hospital’s new board leadership.

“Pat’s leadership has meant a great deal to this hospital, and we’re thankful for everything he’s given to DMH and Taylor County,” Biddy said. “We’re excited to welcome our new board members and officers as we continue increasing local access to quality care.”
